The Dalmeny Hotel was established over 70 years ago by founders Reg and Hilda Webb. They bought the Hotel as a small guesthouse in 1946 which had just 11 rooms. During busy periods they vacated their own room and de-camped into a caravan in the hotel grounds to utilise the extra room.
When Reg and Hilda retired, the reins were taken up by their son John, and, following his death, the hotel continued to be run by his wife Sandra and her children, until her death in May 2013. The current owners, Sandra’s son Christopher and daughter Samantha, have exciting plans to take the Hotel from strength to strength.
Over the years, the Hotel has seen dramatic changes as it has grown in popularity. At present it has 112 bedrooms, two restaurants, extensive conference facilities and a full leisure complex including swimming pool, squash court, beauty salon and a fully equipped workout gym.
The Dalmeny Hotel has a distinctive style of its own and is renowned not only for excellent food and friendly attentive staff, but also for its commitment to the caring and training of all staff involved in this family run business.
It has and will always be very much part of the fabric of Lytham St Annes and we want to create a destination that will have a very long and rich legacy.
Creating that legacy will involve developing a sustainable business, which will stand the test of time, investing in our people and becoming a resort where guests can be welcomed, relax and be part of the wider Dalmeny family.
