The Dalmeny Resort Hotel is a leading Fylde Coast hotel with a reputation for great customer experience. We are currently expanding our Food and Beverage team and are looking to recruit passionate & preferably experienced Food and Beverage Assistants. It is important to have an eye for detail, a total CAN DO attitude and great customer service skills. Our Food and Beverage team is passionate about making sure all our guests enjoy their stay with us and leave with lasting happy memories.
We are recruiting for Full Time, Part Time and Zero Hour workers.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a background & experience of bar and/or restaurant service and should be creative with the ability to forward think. They must also be available to work evenings, weekends, and holiday term times.
Purpose of the job
Under the guidance and supervision of the Food & Beverage Manager and Supervisors, the candidate will provide a warm, friendly, welcoming service and atmosphere for guests.
Relationships
Reports directly to the Food and Beverage Manager or Supervisors.
Work well with all other members of the F&B team.
Experience
1 year experience of working in a Food & Beverage/Bar environment preferred.
Experience of working in a customer facing environment preferred.
To have worked in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Co-operates and communicates with all employees, supervisiors and managers at all times.
Interacts with guests and individuals & ensures that guest satisfaction is always a top priority.
Follows the department’s ‘opening up and closing down’ procedures, as laid down by the Food & Beverage Manager.
Provides a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere to guests, maintaining efficiency at all times.
Follows the sequence of service as laid down by the Manager or Supervisor.
Deals with any guest queries or concerns.
Is aware of the importance of cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant and the equipment therein.
Ensures all health, safety and hygiene practices are followed as laid down by the Food & Beverage Manager.
Completes daily work schedule/job list.
Is trained in all aspects of the Food and Beverage department including the restaurant, bar, breakfast, and functions.
