The area has something for everyone – from the bright lights and vibrancy of Blackpool and all its attractions and theatres to the more sedate pace of life in Lytham and St Annes, where you can have a stroll on the beach or visit many of its beautiful parks and public gardens.

If it’s golf you are after you’re in a good place. Only 10 minutes from The Dalmeny is the world famous Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf club which has been host to ten Open Championships and two Ryder Cups including numerous other major tournaments. The town is also home to Fylde Rugby Club which competes in National League 1.

Further afield you can visit the historic cities of Lancaster and Preston and if you want to explore the fantastic Lancashire countryside and experience an area of outstanding natural beauty, then look no further than the Trough of Bowland.

Outside Lancashire you have Cumbria and its world famous Lakes to the North or if you prefer you can visit the magnificent cities of Liverpool and Manchester which are only a 50 minute journey away.
