St Annes Pier and promenade & Lifeboat House
"Welcoming visitors since 1885, a beautiful pier. Rain or shine there are things to do restaurants, shops, amusements with children's cars and rides. At the Lifeboat House eighteen awards for gallantry have been presented to the crews over the 155-year station history, including a Silver Medal for a rescue that saw the worst disaster in lifeboat history in 1886. Today, the station operates two lifeboats, one at Lytham and one at St Annes."
