The Hotel operates both an OFSTED approved créche and and full time Day Nursery.

DALMENY CrEche

This créche facility is available to hotel guests and local residents to all children aged 2-7yrs.

So, if you would like a pamper session at SPA Dalmeny, lunch at Patio cafe bar, or just a coffee in the poolside lounge you can choose from three 3 hour slots for just £5 per session.

Session 1: 9.00am - 12noon (mon-sun)
Session 2: 1:00pm – 4.00pm (mon-sat)
Session 3: 5:00pm to 8:00pm (sat and school holidays only)

DALMENY DAY NURSERY - FULL TIME DAY CARE

We have been operating an Ofsted Approved childcare facility at the Dalmeny Hotel for over 6 years. Over that period we have added to and improved our facilities and play areas and have a great family of qualified nursery nurses and happy children.

The Dalmeny Day Nursery is open to all children aged between 2 and 5 years between the hours of 8am and 5:30pm and we can now also offer full time day care throughout the school holidays.

Our current fees

Morning Session: 8:00am - 1:00pm £18
Afternoon Session: 1:00pm - 5:30pm £17
Full Day Session: 8:00am - 5:30pm £33

We also accept Nursery Grants. Please ask for details.

The morning and full day sessions include a full
lunch prepared on-site by the Chef in the Patio Café Bar.

The Great Outdoors

Our newly re-furbished outdoor play area is enclosed within the hotel. Whatever the weather we encourage outdoor play such as digging in the sand or soil area, enjoying physical play on the climbing frame or bikes. The children can explore water outdoors as well as growing and nurturing plants and wildlife. The children are also encouraged to be creative using natural materials.

We also regularly take advantage or our surroundings with trips to the beach, park and library.

Facilities and Activities

We have 2 playrooms and an outdoor play area. The indoor rooms consist of a free-flow play area where children can play imaginatively in the small world or read a book in the book area. Children get messy playing with spaghetti and jelly; they splash in the water, dig in the sand and paint a masterpiece for you to take home. For the over 3s, swimming lesson are carried out every Tuesday in the pool.

Location

The Dalmeny Day Nursery is located within the Dalmeny Hotel. The nursery is a purpose built facility and includes 2 play rooms and an outside play area which are all enclosed within the hotel complex.

There are two car parks to the front and the rear offering access to the Nursery from Clifton Drive South and South Promenade. The Hotel has great facilities including gym with aerobics studio, 20 metre pool, jacuzzi, steam room and splash pool.

Parents of Nursery children receive 10% discount at SPA Dalmeny which is open 7 days a week for advanced beauty treatments and massage, and at the Patio Café Bar, and Atrium Brasserie which are also on-site.

Also all new Dalmeny Day Nursery members receive a free months Family membership at GYM Dalmeny!
