A new food and beverage manager is the latest addition to the senior team at The Dalmeny Resort Hotel as we continue to build our reputation for fine food in Lancashire.
Ben Derbyshire, 29, joins The Dalmeny to help manage the creation of a brand new restaurant, which is due to be completed next year as part of a £2.5million renovation programme.
He has already overseen an extension to our popular Bar Indigo, which has been given a sea view sun terrace ahead of the summer season.
Ben will also be involved with developing new food and drink menus, as well as devising dedicated dining options for wedding and conference activity.
And he will help maximise the packages we provide for a diverse set of events as we look to grow our prominence as the venue of choice for weddings, celebrations and conferences.
Ben, from Preston, brings 14 years’ food and beverage experience which has included eight years working in four and five star hotels up and down the country for large groups such as Hilton and QHotels.
He said: “I’ve been aware of The Dalmeny and its great reputation for quality and service ever since I was small, so I’m looking forward to being able to build on this and enhance what’s on offer.
“It’s an exciting time to join as we prepare for big changes and the creation of our new restaurant, and my focus will be to make sure we continually exceed the expectations of our guests.”
Samantha Lewis, director at The Dalmeny Resort Hotel, said: “Ben will be a great asset to our management team and we’re confident that with his strong background he will add tremendous value to our food and beverage offering. As our new restaurant gets underway he will be instrumental in delivering a great dining experience to our guests.”
The Dalmeny Resort Hotel is home to a variety of bars and restaurants, extensive conferencing facilities and the stylish Atrium venue; a stunning function suite with mezzanine level cocktail bar which can accommodate up to 200 people.
